Has anyone looked at the raffle prize list for this race yet? Holy cow... There still has to be a few things added to it, such as a couple more hulls! I think that puts it at about 10 hulls at this point? Once again, a huge thanks to the sponsors for this race! We have a ton of cool things lined up for you guys, this is gonna be awesome.

164 entries with 50 drivers as of today. I know of many more that intend on coming so get them in. This is the largest tunnel race ever held in the history of RC boat racing for the 3rd consecutive year. Come join in the party.

You both are entered. Ritchie, yours came today. Thanks Robin for the comments. A lot of hard work has gone into this race, particularily one of this level and prestige. But it shall pay off for everyone that comes and enjoys the race and festivities. We have work details at the lake starting this coming weekend to prepare for the race.

Just an FYI, our website for the month of November has over 8,500 hits! with 1,700 unique visitors.

Its a shame that tunnel boats are dying out....

It seems there have been many firsts at this race. That continues in 2008. Tunnel Mafia entered in Mod-VP and would you know...it's Aunt B. Guess he is having visions of being another Rusty Campell or Al Stoker or John Knight. (After all John has won back to back titles) Can't wait to see this boat since it is on the entry list as "own". Not suprised by this. The Godfather has the North Florida Chapter do his dirty work in classes which he will not be racing in himself.

I thought for sure Otto's No. 2 man Hearl would be here taking cheap shots by now. And what about this thug "Fingers"...is he coming too? I thought he raced monos or something.

Glad to know the Boil is gonna be served up again.

I think all the smack talkers are very busy with their boats. If you remember the 2006 race we had a good incentive for the smack talkers which resulted in a IW's vote for the best one. This race has become so big it is difficult to add the fun, on the water attractions like we had in 2006. I can speak for every CMB member when I say we want to keep the fun and antics in this event no matter how big it gets. With that said............

The best 2008 WTC smack talker gets a new OMC boat....."SMACK TALK EDITION" (and it will be special)

boy, mark, that shut them up ! if it takes THIS long for someone to respond to the challenge............ i think my son being the only K&B in .21 tunnel (mod) is some sorta smack talking B) ! so far, he has held his own, with my motors and his driving. oh, and by the way, i didn't tell him not to share his likker with yankees, i told him not to let them drink FIRST :lol: :lol: . if not for the job market, i could be part of the n. fla. mafia, lived there for 30 yrs, before moving up here 6 yrs ago. now i'm about 30 miles south of the mason-dixon line - talk about culture shock ! i'm **** sure ready for some low country boil. see ya'll in march at the pond to see who is best.

Man I am just hoping all my tunnels run good. The last time they were run was begining of Sept. Have about 4 to 8" of ice right now. When we leave home to go to the race we will still have 3 plus feet of ice yet.But my boat mechanic is pretty good, now if I could only drive really well. :lol: :lol:

Mark,... Yeah I ran a mono for a while, a very short while... a gas mono to be exact. But I traded it for a 40 tunnel as soon as I saw your entry. Geez... I thought you had had enough last spring when you came down to Orlando for that azz whoopin you took. What made it worse is that you had a four hour drive home to think about it afterwards. You may not know it but in the last few months the Mafia has trained me well, and the godfather in consultation with his right hand man Hearl, has decided I will get my full membership pledge pin after collecting the customary 150.00 Mafia guest attendance fee that you skipped town owing.
