Mine would be on the way, but currently stuck in Boulder, Co until Monday. Checkbook is back in Ky.... Entry and check will be sent out Tuesday..

Can't wait!

Mark, you might want to get that ole Jeep a tune up before making the trek... Mine darn near left me stranded on the side of the road with a brake fire the last time I was in the states. Good to see you are coming for sure, bring that fancy camera!

Updated the entry list, up to 66 boats with yesterdays mail.

Where are all of the gas boats??? Anyone here bringing a gas boat or what? I would love to see this class go strong this year... none registered so far. If I could figure out how to ship the darn thing over, I would bring one, but it aint happening. Walt, Mark, Steve, you guys bringin the big gassers? I know I have sold quite a few of them in last few months... where are you guys?

:D

Won't be taking the Jeep this time.. Had brake issues myself in the summer. Brake line broke due to rust.. Lucky enough, I was sitting on the driveway when it happened...

Camera will be there! Thinking of getting another zoom lens to get closer shots of the action...

As for the gasser, doubt mine will be running. Something is amok with the motor.. And I'm going to consintrate getting the other boats in better running condition. The HTB360 is waiting to be cleaned up and sent to Mr Hopper for a new bottom.. Issues, issues, issues...

Ain't boating fun!

Come on Mark I'm bringing the ole yellar rocket back up there to defend the title, dam sure need a feild of boats. we are talking gas engines,Don't let the Attwells get spanked by them selves(LOL).

Steve,

Wish I could.. Last time the gasser ran, it went about 1/2 a lap and dies.. Don't know what is going on.. Plus, still need to chat with Fred to see if he has the new two piece (cable and prop shafts) vs the one piece..

It will be sorted out at some point.. But I still live where the water is solid a couple of months a year..

Hey Guys, I have updated the site.

The current entries are up to 87, and counting.

Also, check out the sponsor/raffle prize page. The raffle alone would be worth the trip to come to this race, and we are just getting started! 6 hulls, two engines, and lots of other stuff.... If you are interested in donating raffles prizes, please contact John knight at [email protected]

This is gonna be awesome! :D :D :D

Big thanks to all of the sponsors for stepping up thus far!!!

Guys, awesome work on the 'champs page! Class act all the way.... Last years race was without a doubt, the event of a lifetime..... "Course, I've a better hull, and some experience, to help bring more trophies NORTH! hehe.... I'm bringin the best I got... lets have it!

James & John,

Contact Aeromarine, they are pretty good at supporting races. I can bring it down to the race, I do not have room for a 48" Tunnel. Let me know if I can help out.

Ok Guys, I updated the site. We are now past the halfway mark for entries, and a LOT of you "normal" (I use the term lightly) guys havent entered yet. I have also talked to a bunch of overseas guys who said they are coming, but no entries yet. In less than 3 weeks we are up to 128 boats, 41 racers, and 6 countries. All classes are official now, with atleast 5 in each class.

Someone needs to talk to Ernie LaFleur!

More announcements coming soon. :D

Mark,

Your signature has your # in it so that will not be a problem for me.

NOTE FOR EVERYONE ELSE:

For everyone else that is "thinking" about coming, your time is very short to enter. We are up to 138 entries in less than 3 weeks and have just 112 to go to the 250 limit. At this pace the race may be sold out in 2 weeks. So if you plan on coming, you had better do more than "think" and send it out in the next couple of days. I may compile a VERY short waiting list when we hit the limit, just in case of a cancellation, but the 250 boat limit is a hard limit.

Watch our race website (noted below in my signature) for details and is updated daily. If your name is listed I have received your entry. If not, I have not.
