No worry about the hotel rooms. Fingers is just trying to impress his boss by thinking he can strong arm all the area hotels.

Fingers might be looking for a quick way out of town when the TBM has to pitch tents at the lake.

No worries. We have our hotel rooms now. But it appears that some of the competition was spreading rumors about a lack of hotel rooms trying to get the Mafia to skip the event, thus improving their chances. IT DID NOT WORK. We will be out in full force. Also, after 'negotiating' with the local hotel chains in the Charleston area, there will be an additional fee of 40.00 for reservations if you do not show a Mafia ID at sign in!

And as usual, when the Mafia is present, a customary $30 bouy cut fee will be in effect. Payable to the Godfather after each heat (wether you cut a bouy or not)

i grew up chasing coots in the canals of n. mia. had a 12'3' starcraft with a '59 35 hp johnson. what a great way to grow up!!! boats, water, freedom, good FREE racing- **** what happened?????? tree huggers, environmental folks, noise issues, wake laws, used to be a lot more fun, still is, just not as much. looking foward to having a lot of good fun in march. exicted about putting faces to names, and shaking some hands/making new friends. can't wait, daddy, are we there YET  ?

Between just 20 tunnel and Sport 20 tunnel there are now 96 entries (50 in 20 mod) I have been to races that did not have that many boats in the whole event. If you want to race better get to the post office. 198 and counting. :p

Guess I'll lay back of the 1st turn melay, get clear pull trigger ,ride around 6 laps claim victory,Damm sure sounds easy enough don't it??

You didn't have to tell everyone my strategy!! Lay back and lane 7-8 is the place to go because there will be a graveyard at buoys 1 & 2.
