Tim I water tested your GAS mono today, I hope your ready for it! :D

Have you ever driven a Kingy before?? B)

Mike,

Yes - I've driven them but only with nitro engines. Sounds like I'm going to need some practice on it on the Friday tho'

Cheers,

Tim.

Good to hear, I have faith in your driving, just Kingy's are a little special.

I just got off the phone with Craig, 25 gas mono's. :D

107 boats, 45 people, 15 classes, not a bad effort for a little country town.

I hope the Pub has enough food and beer!

Mike,

I'm betting it will behave differently due to the props used with the gassers. I'll need a few practice laps to get familiar with it's habits again - it's been a few years since I drove a Kingy.

Can't wait til friday! Not looking forward to the trip but can't wait to race!

Mike,

45 racers? Wow! I've been to smaller nats....

Do you know if they are running A hydro?

Nitrocrazed racing: doesnt have an A hydro...

Not sure on A hydro, you would know what to expect better than me. 5 gas classes. I guess working back from there,

That is a fantastic number of entries considering the location is fairly remote for almost everybody.

Should we have an IW members only pit section? Very exclusive

I haven't heard from the organiser to say there isn't an A Hydro class so I'd say it's on! I have to bring mine anyway ;)

Ian, Bring the Picco please.

Craig C, bring the Rossi 90 pin please.

Aaron, bring your money please!

Tim.

Almost time to pack the car,,,,everybody have their boats ready?

Out of 4 of mine two are ready, one needs to be water tested (new old motor) and one I haven't run since Christmas, but it won then so it should be good to go still!

A little more Epoxy work tonight and packem in tomorrow!

I got all my stuff together last night. That way I can pack the car tomorrow night and head off at 5am the next morning. I have to pick up Paul O on the way also.

(I'm going to need a trailer soon!)

Finley is on the NSW/Vic border about 1 hour drive west of Albury. (i.e - middle of nowhere)   Only joking!

Tim.

MAP Link.

5 hours from Sydney, 5 hours from Mildura, 8-9 hours from Adelaide, 3-4 hours from Melbourne but only 1 hour from Griffith and they do have an airport!

Hey Tim, 5 info kiosks, 5 bars (they all know we're coming) and one road! No stop lights! One word of advice, go to dinner early or go hungry....

It's more than 5 hours from Sydney. Closer to 7. It takes me 7 1/2 hours to get from Deniliquin to Sydney with the occasional high speed run. (the only time my boats will see 100mph! ) Deniliquin is about 1 hour drive along the border from Finley.

See ya Tomorrow Mike!
