I noticed there is at least one 'A' Outboard entered already so with you and I we'll have 3!! Hopefully, a few more might get their entries in??

Hi Ronald,

there are two clubs in Melbourne. RMBC has a club day on the 9th December. I'm not sure about the other club (Western Districts) as their site is under construction at the moment.

I'll be in Melbourne too but on 20 - 22nd November! Shame about the timing being out - it would be good to meet you. Are you coming to Sydney while in Australia?

on the 2nd on December at the WDMBC there is the SAW trails

and 9th as Tim said is at RMBC is a club race day and xmas B.B.Q

I asked since there is a chance that I have to meet with a famous girl overthere, so i am coming down to downunder for just two days.

So if at all, I don't have too much time and I will only be in Melbourne, sorry no Sydney.

If, and I say IF, i have the chance to meet up with some of you I willing to take some time for that.

But right now, all my attention is to this girl, investment for the future??????????????????

Oh thought i might also add to those of you who are hiding or storing 7.5 OBs, us OB guys have two boats running and 4 in the works so come next year we should have a 6 boat class for B tunnel.

So if ya got one blow the dust of her and get her out there!!

I'll be at Penrith on Sunday and I'll also be running my 7.5cc Outboard, hopefully, with the Hi Jack Mount on it to help "fine tune" the trim.

Once I get this baby sorted out, I'm going after the scalp of the "Killer", look out Greg!!

On another note, I was talking to the guys at the Hunter Valley on the weekend and they've got a couple of 7.5cc Outboards that are waiting for a reason to get the dust off them. I told them we've got a few under development so if we can keep talking we might see a few entries for the World Circuit Racing Challenge at Penrith in January and then at the BOTB in February and then at the MBC of NSW & HVMMC Inter Club .......just imagine

Gino, you better get those new hulls finished quickly!

the new boats are just about done!!! They will be sealed by this weekend and hopefully finished sometime next week - yeehaa Building radio boxes tonight

Gee with 4 of the boats being built by me in our club, we could almost name the class after me - something like "Big G Outboard" class!!!!! :lol: :lol:

We had some VERY competitive .21 Outboard racing at Penrith yesterday! We had 3 heats of racing in perfect conditions with a different winner in each race.

It was a good sight to see 5 boats hit the starting line together and continue to joust for positions in the corners and down the straights with the lead changing a number of times. Paul Stirton made an exciting "comeback" to racing and showed some very precise driving with his Nemesis/CMB RS to steal the lead in two of the races. "Outlaw" Redman and Ozbryan had their TS2s running very quickly and showed smooth handling through the turns.

Too bad the "old timers" - Tim, Gino, Greg, MJ, Gerrard & Murph weren't there to increase the numbers and show this is one of the most hotly contested classes at the MBC of NSW.

Glad there was a good turn out over the weekend, I'm out of racing for a little while due to other commitments but should be back soon...... Looking forward to get "OB" McQueen dialled in one of these days.

I meant "old timers" in the kindest possible sense i.e. based on your vast experience and the fact that you guys were in the top 7 pointscorers last year in 'A' Outboard.

Murph: We all look forward to seeing the OB McQueen on the water. It showed heaps of speed in its maiden outing and it will be exciting to see it racing regularly. The same with Tim's new boat.

I hope we can all get our act together for the World Circuit Racing Challenge at Penrith in January it will be a hoot if we can have everyone there, it would be something like 13 outboards from MBC of NSW, plus whatever the guys from the other clubs can bring. Just imagine how good it would be to see 15 - 20 'A' Outboards fighting it out.........

I doo have a old K&B i could run on there until i get a huge donk for the back of this thing! LOL :lol: :lol: might only run 20% nitro through it though so it dont blow up! :lol: :lol:
