OK Guys, who's coming out to Penrith on Sunday for the Xmas Fun Day & BBQ???

Who is ready to take the challenge and bring out your Sport, Mod & Electric Outboards to see who can set the fastest "Hot Lap" and have their time recorded for posterity :D

Well that's good, sounds like we've got at least four, Bryan, Ian, Tim & me. What about Murph and The King???

It sounds like it's going to be a fun race day for you guys.... I wish Sydney was a bit closer, I'd be there like a shot! I'm looking forward to hearing / reading / seeing how the day goes.

How about that humidity yesterday?

The Lynx'es of Gino and Murph were hauling yesterday, as to was Kesso with the Mexican tunnel- Novarossi power! Good to see GMorty at the pond too!

It's good that you guys started early, sounds like the weather got the better of everyone in the afternoon.

Nice to have Novarossi power on the Breakthrough Tunnel, it seems to be a pretty healthy engine that Kesso bought. Pity the cavitation plate wasn't staying on for him... that really makes a difference to handling!

Has anyone else had issues with the cavitation plate screws coming loose on the OS lower unit? I've had one pop out as well, just curious to know if this is something common?

Good to hear it hasn't driven you crazy Bryan.... oh well I guess it's a luck of the draw thing, just need to keep a close eye on them. Cheers guys.

I don't know if it makes a difference or not but try cleaning the screws and thread with acetone, then apply a small amount of a mild loctite - works for me.
