BTW MoSlik is going better than ever with my old trusty Geraghty K&B 8907 motor (with an SPP pipe)

Ill be runn Vision with a Stock OS (except for the RG liner)

Louise (if she runs) will be Vision and a stock OS

As Kris said, I'll be running my MoilSlik V2 prototype thingy (I must think up a good name when I perfect the design ), with his old Geraghty K&B and SPP pipe. At least it turns without hooking now, I just have to remember how to drive in the pressure of heat racing!

Let's hope we get weather like the weekend just gone.

Haha yeah Craig, I certainly didn't enjoy watching it dart so badly! That's the danger of running something brand new and virtually untested.... makes it all the more satisfying when problems get fixed! Can't wait to see either of your outboards in action!

Kessos boat was screaming yesterday! Kinda feel bad now that I took the steering linkage off before the race!

Thanks Greg, I appreciate all the offers of help from you guys.

I've put 3 lots of epoxy on the damaged sponson and still need to sand off the last one, fixed up the steering and 3rd Channel pushrods, epoxied the Radio Box back in, pulled the engine down to check for dirt and rocks, pulled the Lawless apart for a check, replaced the flex shaft and prop shaft and cleaned up the chewed up skeg, I still need to check the steering servo arm and find my other X637 prop. Hopefully, it will be right to go, we'll just see how it goes on the Practice Day.

It seems my mid race detour was caused by the receiver battery becoming disconnected :angry: :angry: Unfortunately, no fail safe if no battery connection

I've also arranged for some new receiver batteries, hey Kris, would you be able to put those new batteries through a couple of charge cycles for me please

Just about to leave home now and meet up with the other member of the Odd Couple Racing Team for the trip "south of the border".

Congrats Pulsetech on the win in A O/B at the Carribean Masters. It was great to see so many boats performing well in the class.

Yep well done to all.... especially Greg for being so quick and consistent. That second race on Saturday certainly got the adrenaline flowing when I was hot on Greg's heels for the whole race, I just couldn't quite reel him in though! :lol:
