There are so many battles within this race, it adds up to WAR!

Mr. Carl......can't wait to see his latest ideas. No center pole this year!

Ovary Express Racing......hope March 29-30 is not wrong time of the month.

Mr. Hopper.......with so many fast boats, I do hope luck is on his side this time.

Mr. Dunlap.......man can drive the sponsons off of a tunnel.......literally.

Grimracer......you can beat Kevin this time.

Kevin......can't beat Grim twice in his favorite class.

Mr. Knight.......better have Miss Brenda (the boat) cooking. The wolves have found Mod-VP.

HTV Boats.......coming back to add insult to injury. (I will have a new boat, wolves don't scare me)

Mitch Sr. ......sheep in wolf clothing.

Toni Atwell....just bring the boil, you can race too if you want.

Tunnel Mafia.......Guess they are busy purse snatching right here before Christmas.

Mystery drivers......talk about suspense, oh yeah...it's killing me. Like Mr. Wrestling no. 1 and 2. They gonna have masks?....but please, no tights.

Did I forget anyone? Don't worry, there is still plenty of time for more.

You forgot about me, O thats right this year will be my first time attending this race. But I have had the honor of racing with Mike Z. He has helped me a bunch, someday I might be able drive as good as he does.

Merry Xmas and Happy New year.

Ritchie,

Take from one that knows, being below the radar with the hit list is a very good thing! Do not feel slighted, but rather be thankful. After March, you may find out what I mean.

Very good descriptions Mark. I am glad you clarified your remark about the Miss Brenda! She would smoke my hiney in a minute.

Boats putaway all winter? Mine have been put away for two years! still breaking in 4 new powerheads and fighting 20 to 30 Mph winds on the weekend. Hope to have them all done by march See ya Jimmy

mr. wrestling #1 & #2 ? ****, mark you're as old as me. i remember gordon solie as a local broadcaster in fla., doing commentary while haystack calhoun was wrestling    ! yeah, jimmy, my stuff is on the shelf, too. nice today, about 50 out, but the ponds still have ice in them. but the new jato 3.3 xmas gift absolutely screamed. have to bring it with me, and chase dogs with it at the races. well, maybe not just dogs ;) ......

Robin there you are out burning up the pavement with that 3.3 and we are out buning up the ice on our sleds. In search of more speed.Would be nice to get 120 out of her but I don't think it will happen. Going to finish up working on the tunnels and start on my new sport 20 I got for X Mas.

Richie R

yeah, ritchie, we're in the "in between" zone. to warm for snow or frozen ground, but not warm enough to thaw ALL the ice. the ground stays frozen about 2-3 inches down, but the top will thaw, talk about a muddy mess, it sux. then what thaws during the day freezes at night, so every morning you have patches of black ice for your ride to work. no worse than the red clay back home, imo. see ya in march :D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys,

A major milestone has just been achieved!! We have reached the boat limit of 250 (actually 251) for this race and we are going to CLOSE entries except for the following classes to fill up the final heat that contains less than 8 boats:

D tunnel - 3 openings

Sport D - 4 openings

Open - 2 openings

MOD-VP - 3 openings

These classes will remain open for a little while to attempt to fill them out. However they will be closed out before long.

The B, Sport B, E/F and gas classes are totally closed for all future entries. I already have a wait list for both of the B classes. It is imperative if you plan on scratching a boat before the race, please notify me immediately so I can replace it with one from the waiting list. Do not wait until the race to do that if you know prior to that.

For a listing of all entries click on the race link at the bottom of my signature portion of this block. The final entries should be included tomorrow.

The CMB club offers many thanks all of you that have elected to attend the World Tunnel Championships. 79 racers from 8 different countries, 251 entries obtained in just over 6 weeks and sold out the race, speaks volumes of how well a "tunnel only" race, being a championship caliber level, can do. For those that have not chosen to attend, for whatever reason, we hope you will include this race in your 2009 race schedule.

WOW, 251 boats within 6 weeks, speaks volumes of the Tunnel racers! Can't wait...

As for those that have frozen water and can't test.. I'll be there right with you.. But there's other issues to resolve first.. Like I need to build the WOF boats first! Going to be a long January..

Been in the "SOUTH" for 15+ years and I still won't convert! Call me a D**N Yankee if need be!!

Can't wait B)

Well I just moved far enough south that the water here in southwest MO stays open.... I will be testing and tuning for most of the next couple of months.... Anyone needs their boats "tuned" just send them over and I will "take care of you" he he before the worlds.... he he

Anyway, looking forward to making it back over again this year.... glad things changed and worked out before I sold all of my boats.

Have fun all, looking forward to seeing you all again in a couple of months.

Bill
