Hey Mark, the "sport D" class rules only state "no tuned pipes" for this year as in previous years. We are NOT following normal sport class rule as in the sport 20 boats. That may change in the future, but as it is now, a CMB or Rossi with a muffler on it (such as a K&B style can muffler) is legal, and the lower unit can be pretty much anything. Sort of an outlaw class with a restrictor plate.

Just a question , would this be legal in either Namba or Impba ? Doesn't bother me either way just wondering maybe need to watch E-bay for a good deal .

Hey Ed, im not sure what you are asking... What do you mean would 'this' be legal? This class is something we came up with, as it is, there is no "official" class in NAMBA or IMPBA that uses these rules. The Namba guys have B OPC, which is for box stock .45 outboards, such as the K&B pro, but that about as close as this class gets to that.

Please clarify... You have confused me, which unfortunately is an easy thing to do.

Sorry James , I was following the rules for .21 Sport class rules . I thought they would be the same . What ever power head came with lower type rule . No biggy .

So if I can get a Rossi .45 and bolt it to my K&B lower it will be legal ?

As long as you can bolt a K&B muffler to you're engine your good to go.

Hate to have to post this information, but JD will be purchasing "Wisconsin Richie's" ticket to the Low Country Boil Saturday evening. Seems like my Seahawks couldn't stand prosperity and blew that 14 point first quarter lead.

Hey Richie,

Maren moved to Washington from Wisconsin when she was 5. So, she's a Hawk fan. She pulled me out of the model boat shop at the start of the second quarter to watch the game with her. Actually, we're both Packer fans(if the Packers aren't playing the Seahawks). I still have the "Cheese Head" you sent me. We'll be rooting for GB against NY next week.

Just a quick update from the CMB club. The members have been working their tales off for a while now, and things are looking great! These are a few pictures from our new pond, it will be our permanent site, so we were allowed by the gracious owner to build a nice drivers stand/cd stand/radio impound/and storage area.

We are getting ready!
