I'm sure we can talk some of the P-mono's into signing up for open FE mono and I'm hoping we will have a few show up.. There would be no nitro parity rule if they ran in this class. I would... run my mono but the manufacturer has had it for two weeks and I still don't know what the status of it is :angry: .

Yep. Dick sent a Aeromarine Scorpion up with Robin and I picked it up today. Robin had my hydros and the mono seatbelted up (with shoulder belt) in the back seat of his car like little babies. Thanks for taking good care of my boats guys. And thanks for lending me the mono Dick! Robin told me he ran his JAE for the first time this weekend. I got the impression he really likes it!!

yupper, like it A LOT!! threw it in & it just took right off, no pull, good turns. ran 6 laps, brought it in. great first run B) . up & down during heat racing, when i did my job properly, it was easily the fastest boat. i just need to catch up to such an awesome boat ...... gonna be a fun season, got a b mono coming, too h34r: .

Nice Robin! Glad you finally got one going! Are you going to be at the Queenstown race? Also, give us a hint on the B-mono you're building...just curious....

Guys, Unfortunatly I dont think that I will be making this one. Some of you may allready know, but I have been having some bad issues with my right knee for a while now and it finally gave out on me a few weeks ago walking into walmart. Currently under a physicians care (I just changed doctors since the first one was not getting anything accomplished and had me sitting home for almost 2 weeks waiting to a approval to get a mri done). With this going on I am currently not working and waiting for my disability to kick in so racing boats is pretty much out of the question for the rest of this year. I actually sold my Whiplash GV that I took district points with last year to Mr. Beasley and have to congratuate him for taking 1st place in his first race with it last weekend at the North Carolina race.

I plan on going over to queenstown and watch the race over there since it is close to home and maybe help with being a "pit boss" if they need one, but other than that, I am out of running boats for the summer. Hope that you guys have a great race and very sorry that I will not be able to attend this year, I have made this race every year since you started running at this site 3 years ago.

I guess that one good thing will come from it besides finally getting my knee fixed, I have a backlash kit on the way to build while I am recouperating for next year so y'all can watch out for me in 2012!!!!!!
