No such thing as bad calls . Just over enthusiastic drivers. If you argue with the CD over jumped starts - you will lose that argument every time. They don't want to ping you - but it is their job to do so if you are over.

Looks like ill be running B Outboard on the weekend!! :lol: :lol: :lol: do i get points for Nostalgia???

This should be a good laugh!! ill be runnign my Gold head on it tho not the motor in the pic....

Hopefully, we'll be able to get it to run complete laps on Sunday - fingers crossed???

After such an ordinary performance by me in yesterday's races, 1 finish out of 6 races, I stayed behind yesterday and played with both my boats until we ran out of light. I came away feeling much happier.

I reckon I've now found the sweet spot with mixture for both boats. The 7.5cc was running consistently and going quickly even though the wind had come up and it turned choppy. I was able to let it run fast, back it off and go slow around corners or let it idle along and then accelerate and get it back up on pipe quickly.

I've still got to work on being able to drive it around corners fast but at least I've solved my "stalling" problem. I had no problems at all with radio range, I was able to run the full distance of the pond. So I will be more confident in future with "going long" to try and time my starts properly.

I lifted the engine height on the 3.5cc and it improved its responsiveness but didn't lose any of its safe handling even though it was choppy. So I just need to put a 10oz tank back in it so I don't run out of fuel like I did twice yesterday and everything should fine. ^_^ ^_^

hmmm my day at the pond...... <_< <_< <_< breaking my mono in practice peed me off, the second in heat 1 of A OB was good considering how far out i was on the start. the second heat of A OB peed me off geting tipped over just before the start by a fish i rekon but winning the third heat was just awsome!! even drowned out the dammage i did to mt 7.5 OB see pic.

Wow, hey Bryan, sorry to see what happened to your 7.5. When I opened the picture, I saw the huge OER sticker and was thinking the OS came apart. Glad it wasnt an OER problem, but hate to see your engine broke! what happened?

Duno really it was running nice the leaned its self out and as tim would say KaBoom is what K&B stands for. all this was on the bank....

The os ran GREAT!! it loves the Grim 40x53 i bought for it!

Tim has been "off the air" this week while he has been travelling around the state with his work. He'll be back tomorrow.

Dave H I can't answer for but I do know that when things get hectic with his business he doesn't get to spend much time on the Forum.

Guys most of us are getting ready for this weekends big meeting oooh i cant wait! , Tim well he could be doing some soul searching at the moment. Hes been having a lot of bad luck lately when it comes to finishing races.
