My thought was to get a exsisting AMPBA club to run the event.

I can arrange scaffolding or a flatbed truck.

Also i could arrange a canteen and get lake commitee aproval.

We are 287 klms from Melbourne and about 480klms from Adelaide

Greg seeing you are race director could you put it to the club?

And yes real boats have more than one sponson

Im not afraid of outboards, i did have a rather good 7.5 outboard a few years ago, had to sell it cos nobody else ran them, hey DAVE!!!!

How about an event for all with one picked as the star attraction,, eg The post hole digging championships.

run this class like the gold cup for 1/8 Scales like at yarrawonga/mulwala, 4 heats and a final.

What type of event do you want to run at this lake ?

What type of event i dont care as i just thought another site closer for the S.A guys to race the

Vics could be a good idea. As for the wind it is not a real issue as there is two sides of the lake to use

plus a alcove area which is fairly shallow but like all lakes strong winds will affect it.

Its up to the racers in what class would be best suited to the venue.

The venue is just another option if any club wanted to use.

you would want to run a event that is open to all classes,

as you will not be ruling out people from attending,

but in all would be a great idea to run event so we can all

race togother and have FUN...

I have to pull out from the Winter Spectacular, I am now planning on going overseas early next year and have decided I can't really afford to race at both the Winter Spec and Adelaide...I've been to Sydney but not to Adelaide soooo........

Anyway, I hope you guys have a blast, I know it will be sweet. Oh and I also had my first K&BOOOOM LOL luckily it only blew apart the lower bearing in the conrod, nothing else seems damaged.
