It would be good for beginners, I guess. But I was really impressed with the speed and handling. Even a rusty old veteran like you or I can have a blast in this class.

I just got off the phone with the vid guy in our club. He said he will take vids on Monday, beings Monday is a national holiday here. I will get them posted soon. I will get the drawings cleaned up and sent to Wade some time next week. He will get them on CAD, then I will go ahead and work on the directions for assembly, We won't keep you waiting long ;)

Sounds great! I will get started on them as soon I receive them!

I know I plan on building one once I get done with the plans

Hammer, how long do you think it will take for the plans to arrive once you send them? I am just wondering so I can keep an eye out for them.

They will take about 5-6 days, Wade. They have Japanese written all over them now, because I let one of my clubs buddies borrow them, I will have to re-draw them so that they are more ledgible.

Hopefully they will be in the mail this coming week. I will have to write up a word file with directions to build, in accordance with my drawing, so you can cut and paste, if you have to.

Hey Propjockey! I tried to send you an answer to your message, but it wouldn't go through. Here is the answer to your question:

We are 18 hours ahead of the west coast.

LOL...It came through.....four times! ;D Guess there's still a few bugs with the new YaBB.

Thanks!

I can put all of your building instructions on the CAD plans if you want. do you have a logo for it? if you do, I can put that in the Title Block. What do you think?

Hey! Propjockey! Can you make a logo and send it to Wade? Or post it here. Then Wade can copy it.

Kinda like the Ninja one you did, but no Kanji.

"Hammerhead .12" with "Project speed" in a smokey color in the back ground would be cool.

Wade, if you can get the program put on a floppy or CD-ROM, I can see about having my sister laser cut some wood for us!

uh umm! Ron! If you are going to start mass producing my rigger, you better give me a kit or two ;D

Hammer

I will trust your taste on the colors and design, Erin. You seem to have a better fashion sense than I do :p

Thanks a lot.

No problem there, we could make you a few of them up. Who knows, it could end up by being something big! You could make a profit from each kit made. Something to think about.

(updated) I just got off the phone with my sister, her laser cutter can handle up to 1/8" wood and a maximum sheet size of 12"x 24".

Your sister has a laser cutter!!!! That sure would save a lot of time. ;D making the templates would be really easy. It is just a matter of laying out the pieces in a size that her marching can handle, or that best fits the parts if smaller. Then all I need to know is what file format she prefers. It is typicaly simple.

the file would be small enough to email

the logo should look cool in color, or black & white, so the plans can be printed out either way.I would like it sized so that it can fit on the boat somewhere (stickers!). what do you think Hammer?

I'll have to get back with her when she's not so busy. She is in the middle of moving her store this weekend from Richland to Vicksburg. The cutter will be down for a few days while the new exhaust plumbing is being hooked up. She also has a guy wanting her to cut an airplane kit now. Looks like we might get her into the R/C business!

Nothing wrong with that! I am guessing that I won't have them in my position to start until late next week, & since I am going to do this on my break time & lunches, it might take me about a week or 2 in order to get them finished up. Then figure a couple of days after that to get the templates finished.

i have a guy in canada helping me with laser cutting the firefighters....

I learned that you need a real expensive laser to go bigger than 12x24....i think this guy is 48x48???

anyways remember what i did..... laser etch the logo on the tub side!

Hey you guys! You are runnin' away with it. Way to go ;D.

Erin! What I meant was that if you can come up with a Design as cool as the Ninja, you have me beat. I think that anything you are able to come up with will be fantastic. Do it to it. thanks
