I want to welcome all the 'newbies' and let you know that we are here to help you get started in this great hobby! :p :p :p

Propjockey Racing.....wish I knew as much as these 'newbies'.
Thanks Propjockey,

With a handle like that, I'm guessing you could offer me the best Prop advice.

My question is: I just got a prop for my first boat Project.

It came with no instruction about how to install on the shaft.

One end of the props round center has lettering, the other end has square notches.

Which part of this prop faces the front of the Boat?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Andy,

Obviosly Propjockey doesn't know and so...Either end can face the front of the boat but one way has more slip than the other (in more ways than one). B)

Ha!

I built one of those once.

Wasn't smart enough to give it such a descriptive name though.

Yeah, I had one too, back in my first venture in 1/8 scale. It was trying to carry 28 oz. of fuel in the nose of a scale boat because I wanted to be able to go out as soon as the clock started. Not pretty...............

Prop....It's that shinny chrome looking thing that is on the back of your neighbors Bass boat. :p

It's a revolutionary new design of hull. Shaped like a bass guitar. Takes a lot of tuning to get it right.
