Don you are right. If you people do not have anything good to say, then stop posting on this starting table. All Don is trying to do is make a product that some people are looking for these tables. Good Lock Don

Well I guess there are a few who want my "overpriced" tables-

Bob Heywood

Bob Morton

Rip Holdridge

Greg Martin

Kevin Sheren

Mark Sholund

Ron Byrd

Mike Bontoft

So there are 2 of the 12 tables left as I'm keeping one & the 2nd goes to the Internats raffle. B)

Hey Don,

I would like to buy one of your tables. Was wondering since

I was such a poor man could you finance It for me?

It seems that all these other guy's on this forum have alot of

money but rather buy a table built in China and support them.

That's the reason I am poor now; however, I much rather buy a table

from you. That way you can spend your earnings to support other american

hobby shops to keep them alive and well.

Don's on the horn with George W right now going over the trade deficit. If he's able to sell that last table, we're in the clear! I can see it know on CNN. "Good news on the economy, Don Ferrette sold the last Qwikstand table, saving the country from economic disaster."

KP, you need to trade that vault of Nova Rossi motors for K&B's to support your fellow Americans.

He's Canadian, but buys U.S.
I sold one of my boats to someone in China so does that mean I' supporting the American economy? No, it's free trade. This whole thing about buying American is so mixed up that it's impossible to keep trace of. I wear Levi's that are made overseas and drive American cars with German engines. The only thing I'm sure of is I work for a company that only does business in America and all of my money is invested in companies that only do business in America. Does that mean I'm an American supporter? Maybe.

Don,

If you have any tables left I would like to purchase one. Please let me know the details for payment; and can it be picked up at the Nats? Thanks.

Hi Virgil-

There is one left. I am not going to the Nats this year, I opted for the LASIK eye surgery instead. Send me your mailing address via a PM so i can figure exact shipping costs to you.

Hi Don, Looks like quality to me...... Free shipping to Australia did you say and will they handle my 6 foot 30 pound plus monsters.
Cheers, danny.
Hey Danny-

I'd bet the shipping would be more than the table.......... :p

As for the strength it'll hold up more than 30 pounds that's for sure. B)

The Duratec motor is a German motor?? Did it say that on the build sheet?FOMOCO is a pretty large company but I didn't think they had anything in Germany. I know that Jag, Aston Martin, Landrover are from the UK, Ford Lincon mercury odviously are American bread, and Volvo is whatfrom Sweeden? Mazda is clearly Japanese but I don't know of any parts comming out of Germany. Maybe were they assembled there??

Adam

P.S. Don they are Quality tables and I am sure they are worth more then that especially considering the leg work that you put in.

P.S.S. Sorry about hi-jacking the thread

Don,

Could you provide a certificate of origin on all of your materials? If people are going to pay such an extravagant price for a table then they should be reassured that they are buying a genuine American made product.

If anybody here thinks that there is anything "free" other than the name of "free trade" then you are sadly mistaken. My employer is currently moving operations to China. China puts about 30% tax on everything received. So why do we move there? The Chinese work for $.90 an hour. Then when they figure out how to make our product they can put limitations on our shipments.

Joe,

If you sell a boat to a Chinaman then it is the Chinese that support the American economy. You supported it when you initially bought the boat. And I would have to say that whenever you buy something that was assembled in America then your are supporting the American economy. Not everybody can be a non-laborer. We need jobs for people to put there hands on. America was founded on manufacturing and if we loose it then I guess it will die by manufacturing.
