I’d post the set up question in general. I can’t think of one but there are books and others will know that answer.
The best bet is to make a single run real good then do a twin. The set it isn’t much different. More lift because the 2 props and more acceleration. Twin are challenging but rewarding

Ok thanks. I have a old A/S Cobra 80 with the solid popular sponsons so I kind of know what you are talking about with a twin.

Boaters,

It is not necessarily the rounded tips that work so well, how about the correct diameter reduction, proper blade area, or improper Strut height.
More to it than meets the eye so to speak.

Enjoy Testing,

Tim & Mike,

Do you two want to share that science with us all? Interesting topic that I am sure others would like to know about as well.

Thanks For Sharing Ahead Of Time,

No....you flat out told me on the phone of recent that, in effect, it wasn't a good idea, Mark. I'm not going to argue with you.

When you've earned a BSME, wrote a ME thesis on Fluid Dynamics and added that to your prop experience, then we'll talk.
Until then, I'll leave those conversations between my friend, Jim Russell, and myself.

I don't have the time, nor inclination to dick around doing props....that's why I buy yours, and mod from there if needed, and also because, generally, you're a pretty swell guy.
You do a great job on the props, especially considering what you have to work with, with respect to some of the raws.

The info B-Blades affords on their site is rudimentary basics for the layman, at best.

Have a terrific day! 🙂
