Danny where did you buy those pipe mounts? Is there a book or something else that would show me how to setup a twin? Thanks Matt2727 highly modified
The clamps are adel clamps. Search that. O buy them over size and custom fit them. The part mounted on the boat are old cmdi. I think Speedmaster’s has that part.Danny where did you buy those pipe mounts? Is there a book or something else that would show me how to setup a twin? Thanks Matt
Ok thanks. I have a old A/S Cobra 80 with the solid popular sponsons so I kind of know what you are talking about with a twin.I’d post the set up question in general. I can’t think of one but there are books and others will know that answer.
The best bet is to make a single run real good then do a twin. The set it isn’t much different. More lift because the 2 props and more acceleration. Twin are challenging but rewarding
Yes. They work awesome. Except for one thing. I’ll make another set soon. I t isn’t a cooling issue. It is a strength issue. Easy to correct.Danny are you still testing the air cooled heads?
Yep, appears to be another guy who found the trick with radiused tips.2727 highly modified
Exactly....however, there's some science in the tip radii.Boaters,
It is not necessarily the rounded tips that work so well, how about the correct diameter reduction, proper blade area, or improper Strut height.
More to it than meets the eye so to speak.
Enjoy Testing,
Mark

No....you flat out told me on the phone of recent that, in effect, it wasn't a good idea, Mark. I'm not going to argue with you.Tim & Mike,
Do you two want to share that science with us all? Interesting topic that I am sure others would like to know about as well.
Thanks For Sharing Ahead Of Time,
Mark
