Plus it gives me F/G options for the other stuff right ?

I'm not sure if y'all have seen this or not, but this was posted on one of the Heli forums. I watched it at lunch and was mesmerized.

Perhaps y'all will enjoy it as well. It's about how the Russian's Rocket engine technology was so far head of ours, and why. We even bought these engines, and use them today. They're that badass. It's long...but worth it if you like that kinda stuff (who doesn't!!?!??!).

It's not model rockets...but it's rockets, so I figured y'all would like it. I sure did.

I went out for a ride to get out of the house and ran across a father and 5 year old son launching rockets in a field- I would never try to fly in- but yeah. So I sat and watched from a distance for a few- two rockets in the trees in short order and Jr was a little more than distraught , Being a father and rocket fan, I took a quick drive to a buddies house and retrieved his extension pole for tree trimming. I showed back up and without saying a word, I managed to one of the two back and return them to a MUCH happier young man and his dad. I can get the other one with a ladder as I plan to do AM for them and return it where it belongs- in the young mans hands. I also have a new in package RTF from the Micheals sale I plan on giving him as well. I feel good

Went back and managed to get the other rocket out of the tree just before the pouring rains came-
A very happy young man got his favorite rocket back with a little bonus-
As I also handed him a brand new in the box Hi-Jinx I picked up during the sale.
needless to say- dad and son where smiling ear to ear, Not to mention, it made my day .

I gave a complete stranger and his son something I hope they never forget- humanity . He shared with his son something special- hopefully I elaborated on that experience to his son. Worth EVERY ounce of effort in my book.

Spectacular shot Grim!

Well racing season is over in my neck of the woods. Even though I'll still be running boats for another month, I'm starting to think Rockets for the winter. Got a email from Warehouse Rocketry last night advertising their three hour hump day sale. Saw a Formula 98 for $109 and just had to jump on it. Five Feet tall, four inch tube and 54mm mount. Spiral wound nose cone, dual deploy and colored FG (I got Red). What's not to like? I still have some black Rocket Poxy from the Dark Star build. All I need is to pick up a few 54mm motor casings and I'll be ready for action. I burned a few J motors in My Dark Star 3 with a 38mm adapter last spring. Time to pump up the volume this fall!
