Unlike the 75 plus you guys claim. I'm probably lucky to be hitting 70 but somehow manage to keep up and almost always finish.
Now that's the kind of statement to respect. Something I can believe. I don't know how many times guys have boasted speeds and then be lacking excuses when the radar gun pops out. (That's not to be anything against any particular boat)

I don't know about the other Warloks sold but mine has all Speedmatser hardware. Not mix matched as previously stated.

Seems to me if everyone would share advances in technology thru testing, the 20 class would really GROW and become FASTER.Bickering over who designs what and who copied who sure gets old and takes the fun out of this class.

Which came first the Chicken or the Egg?

I commend both of you guys for taking on the task of duplicating a proven performer and scaling it down a size.

If someone wants to take something and refine it and be compensated for doing so, I think that is wonderful. I personally owned 2 Warlok's. I own a 60/80 Sprint Crapshooter, I even owned a UFO 45. I came really close to ordering a Blackjack from Brad. I am just not a huge fan of the 20 class, so my days of running 20 hydro were short. The warloks were nice boats. From what I have seen of the Blackjack it is as close to the Crapshooter quality as possible.

I am not taking any sides on this, but I really think this all should be settled on the water... Meet up at a race and see who wins - (we all know what design works the best or you both wouldn't have copied it)....

I'd suggest re-reading the thread regarding the Blackjack. I didn't find anyone stating they were going 80 mph. The only statements I found were projected potential speeds. How the comment get twisted is beyond me but to imply that Brad is embelishing speeds is inaccurate and frankly, hypocritical. It's twisting the truth about who is twisting the truth.

 Been kinda fun watching this thread.

I have owned and raced Garcia, Coyote, Road runner and Jag II's in .21 hydro.

NEVER was it easy, never did my boat run as fast as others had claimed their did, and never did ultimate speed win races consistantly.

Knock the hype back into reality, if you have .21 rigger that can run near 70, get threw traffic and race lane water from behind, then you can win many more races than the "watch my boat go" crowd will. Get the starts down, learn to drive in the lower 3 lanes, and have a good pit man by your side you will be plenty fast enought to make others take notice.

Consistancy ~ consistancy ~ consistancy wins races and makes you as driver know what screwed up any race you might lose.

The current .21 riggers are ALL able to make you proud, "IF" you can be consistant.

Couldn't agree more - Same goes for just about every class too - not just 21 rigger.

I feel that this is getting out of hand and the bull sh//t needs to stop wright here.

would anyone like to share a phto of a finished up warlock? I'd like to see a shot of one together with the engine in place, I'm having a tough time fitting the mac into mine, the carb and the cowl are fighting for the same space. also how much the cowl needs to be cut.

This is all true if you go to a race to win a trophy, but not everyone cares about $2 trophy. If I ever go to a race because I want to get a trophy I will know it is time to quit this hobby. There are people who will rather run very fast and not win a race than run average and win. 70 MPH .20 hydro is very good boat but 80+ MPH .20 hydro is something else. I can usualy get my boat in high 70's in testing but there is no chance to run that speed in a race. Many people fool themself thinking they are running faster than they do because .20 hydro is harder to guess speed than any other class. I have gone to a many races since I got in this hobby and I have only seen two .20 hydro run 70+MPH during the race, even if you look at the Internats SAW trials only few people posted speeds over 75 MPH.

Joe,

Maybe you should re-read my original thread.

Now that's the kind of statement to respect. Something I can believe. I don't know how many times guys have boasted speeds and then be lacking excuses when the radar gun pops out. (That's not to be anything against any particular boat)
Notice no speeds were mentioned andd certainly no particular brand of boat. That statement was made general because generally everybody I get on radar isn't anywhere close to what they boasted.

I have gone to a many races since I got in this hobby and I have only seen two .20 hydro run 70+MPH during the race, even if you look at the Internats SAW trials only few people posted speeds over 75 MPH.
That's pretty much what I hear.
