Well Wade, I'm sure the poor quality of the photograph is saving me from critisism. Usually I make my plans an hard poster paper, then cut them out and use them for templates. The original plans for this model were this way. They were also complimented by scetches in a notebook with little reminders for myself, and Mr. Shimizu borrowed them to get the set up proceedures in Japanese for the two that he sold for me. They are a total mess now. I think this will serve its purpose.

As for now, the only problems I can see with getting it in inches, is maybe redesigning the mount doublers so that it can easily accomodate a mount that is readily available in the states. Also the upper and lower deckings width will have to be adjusted to fit because using inch wood for the inner wall frame work will throw it off a millimeter or two. No biggy! Other than that, the holes where the sponson boom outer pipes go through the tub will have to be adjusted to what ever size of outer pipe we determine to be adaquite for the application. Another good idea would be to just make a 1/32 hole where they are supposed to go, and the person building it could use those as guides for where to drill bigger holes for the pipes that they have aquired of any size. As for everthing else, they can just use the templates you make and not worry about the measurements.

Wow! We kinda ran away from the video. For those of you who are just dropping by, go back to page 15 of this thread, and check it out. The Url for it is posted there.

I talked to Ron Last night. The laser cutter that his sister has will cut 24" in length. 604mm = 23.78” so we are all set. Ron was excited to learn that you already had an order for 10. I am sender her test files to work out the correct format for her to use. Do you think you will have the plan in the mail today?

Hey Wade! I didn't get home from work until 11:00 last night. I was to beat to work on them, so I will finish them tonight after work and get them in the mail tomorrow. Still have to work on the directions. They can come later. I can send them to you by email, and you can change them to meet your CAD.

Hammer, you'r blowen me away! That little sucker really scoots.

Ya got my mind going about 100mph. As hard as it is for me, I'm

trying to think light.

Fantastic job,

Don

Hey Don! I appreciate the compliments. It probably would really scream if I could have gotten it under 2lbs. It is going well of 50mph, pretty close to 60, maybe. I think that is pretty darn good for a heat racing configuration. I can run it with the big boys and not get blown over either. I had it out there last Monday, and I was on the water with a 26cc mono a .45 Hydro, and a .90 Hydro at the same time. It had no problem handling there wakes.

Wade!!!!! I finished. I will get them in the mail tomorrow. I will be sending you the directions by mail piece by piece with diagrams, as I get them written into MSword.

;D ;D ;D THAT IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see them. So i should start looking for them late next week then. It is really cool that it handles the water so well.

It is really easy to cut & past text from MSword to my CAD program. Depending on how much free time I have at work, I'm not sure how long it will take me to complete the drawing. Hopefully not too long though.

I might just have to come in on a Saturday off the clock to work on them. Have to clear that with the wife though. :)

Don't get a divorce over it ;) I will send it tomorrow, so it will take about 5-6 days. It will have all the shapes of all the pieces, but you will need the text files that I send you with diagrams, so you will be able to figure out what all the pieces are for.

I won't! that sounds like a good plan. i told my wife to keep an eye out for it late next week, & put it somewhere safe so my kids can't get to it.

The drawings are in the mail buddy! I also e-mailed you three files of instructions. 2 of them were pretty heavy. Hope they don't bogg down your computer. You can save them to a CD-R or something.

I have an ISDN line at work, & I have a cable modem at home. I can download 10meg emails without any problems. ;D

So I don’t think it will be any problem. If you could send them out, I should be able to get them.

It looks like you emailed them to my work. As far as bogging down my computer, it has 1gig of RAM. ;D I'm glad I didn't have to pay for that one!

I am really looking forward to getting started. I will be sure to back-up the entire project on CD-R

They wont do you much good there. I just sent them to your house.

Matter of fact, they wont do you much good until you get the snail mail that is coming your way

yup just got them. I should have check my email before I signed on here.

They look Great! I shoud be able to use them!

Hey Propjockey! Had to give up on the flames. I guess I need to buy better masking tape next time. The yellow paint bled underneath.

Wiped it off, and did it in just one color. I wish I had an airbrush.

Anyway! Here are some pics of the new ones.

Those look really great! ;D. I Hope mine looks that good when I finally build one. I just received the next 2 email with instructions.

Yeah! These turned out better than the prototype. 3 times is a charm, you know. I will be sending you more stuff later today. Maybe two or three more pages. You outa start filing it. If you see any problems, like grammer and the sort, let me know. I will fix them up.

Hammer:

It looks like you integrated some extra strength on the bottom of

the tub forward of the rear sponsons rather than on the inside bottom.

I didn't see this on your origional. Is this a refinement of the first one?

If so, Great idea. I love it!
