Well Wade, I'm sure the poor quality of the photograph is saving me from critisism. Usually I make my plans an hard poster paper, then cut them out and use them for templates. The original plans for this model were this way. They were also complimented by scetches in a notebook with little reminders for myself, and Mr. Shimizu borrowed them to get the set up proceedures in Japanese for the two that he sold for me. They are a total mess now. I think this will serve its purpose.
As for now, the only problems I can see with getting it in inches, is maybe redesigning the mount doublers so that it can easily accomodate a mount that is readily available in the states. Also the upper and lower deckings width will have to be adjusted to fit because using inch wood for the inner wall frame work will throw it off a millimeter or two. No biggy! Other than that, the holes where the sponson boom outer pipes go through the tub will have to be adjusted to what ever size of outer pipe we determine to be adaquite for the application. Another good idea would be to just make a 1/32 hole where they are supposed to go, and the person building it could use those as guides for where to drill bigger holes for the pipes that they have aquired of any size. As for everthing else, they can just use the templates you make and not worry about the measurements.
