Another surprising part of the G-30's design is it self retrieves when it goes upside down......I had it upside down twice while
setting the end point adjustments and steering rate in the transmitter.....I purposely exaggerated the steering sweep and speed just to see how tight the boat would turn in that rough water....
With only the sealed radio box as flotation in the front of the boat , while upside down the boats rear floats down in the water far enough that the prop just touches the water and the boat pushed itself back to shore......it ain't fast but it does come back......and all the water-proof gear is in fact water- proof..........all I did there was put Corrosion X on all the plugs and connectors.....and that worked perfectly
