David Hall was finally able to visit Wisconsin and help me run the boat so I
could see it on the water...and this water was rough......it has been a long time
coming and we had a blast......My RC boating tank is physically just about empty....
this has been very difficult for me .....
I am so very pleased for what we have accomplished......For what we
started out to do 15 months ago I believe we have accomplished that
mission.....For the newbie this is a great platform.......
The Zipp G-30 responds very well to set - up changes I.E. props ,
motor angle , motor height , CG changes , bad water and wind etc ,etc ,
etc....and I am very pleased with the steering rigging on S/N 0001 and the
installation of water-proof gear....
Everything you see in these videos is being run with the Zippkits parts
now available......I believe the REK lower is the last bridge for Zipp
to cross....This video is with a box stock REK set up.....
Tunnels do not drive or set-up like a hydro and are much harder to drive
at speed with "panache".....to be a great tunnel driver you have to be
able to drive with panache and the throttle.....the G-30 allows the
driver to do that with great success.....
The G-30 is easy to build , goes out , runs fast and comes back to the
shore.....In fact for the "newbie" on 3S it probably runs and accelerates
a little too fast......Probably a really good place to start for the newbie would be
2S......
I still have a couple of nagging questions I would like to answer and
want to try concerning the G-30 on liquid fuel, but for now I am so very pleased with
this effort.....
Thanks again to all who participated in this effort..........

P.S. The Zippkits Tugster Springer Tug for retrieval is "BITCHIN"!.....
We pulled Davids Prototype #2 back after it had spun a prop shaft......
