Chris,

I have one in stock and I am about to get it tested for SPD-Props.

It's pretty nice, but like all of us he is still learning about propellers.

Mine was free though. $46.00 that is amazing!

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

Not sure who bit on this one but whom ever it is if they are on this board, i would like to know about this new HI TECH PROP they bout. and if it worked .. lol...

You need to talk to Pedro first, he's got all the answers. Just a call away.......... :D

Chris,

Propeller work is all about performance. You never get paid what it would

be worth. If you add it all up you are lucky to make a few bucks, and it will

help pay for the R & D in this hobby. Not many people are making much money

doing propellers for models believe me,it is the big boys on the real boats that

are doing well. If you added up the time and materials that you use to do one

of your propellers what would you be making? Probably around $3.00/Hr?

Now times that buy 600.

Not Getting Rich,

I hear ya, i don't think I would even make 3 an hour lol.

Like you said mark, you have to want to do it, not for money but for the sport.

Polished on both sides.

That's funny. I've been told that you should only polish them on the outside and leave the pushing side as it is, to help push the water/reduce slippage.

That's a new one on me.

Isn't that the prop guy who wanted $99 a while back?

Preston,

That is the $99.00 guy SPD-Props,out of Horton,Ohio.

Finne,

We have tested propellers all different ways: shiny, satin, with lines, without, and

it hasn't made a difference on our radar gun. In fact, one test showed that the

polished surfaces both sides was just a tenth faster. It is just personal

preference I think. Shiny does look nice though. Just have fun testing and try

to learn something every trip to the pond.

Stay Balanced,

When you have a boat with a miledeep shine on the paint, highly polished hardware you don't want a prop that is tarnished hanging out there. OK, my boats aren't that shiny or is my hardware but the props do look half-way decent. What little work that I can get out of my kid is usually having him polish the tuned pipes and props or putting a coat of wax on the decks. He's even been experimenting with making his own blend of polishing compound so I let him go at it.
