Never would the thought of building a v12 even occur to me, nice work!
I do some guitar work… Mostly as a hobby, but have done some some stuff for local musicians.
Thanks and back at ya that is a nice axe! On the bike, WHAT??!!!! That’s awesome. That took some figurin for sure!Nice guitars Rich.
Nice guitars Rich. I have built a few as well. I found that boat building skills are very similar to guitar building. Here's another off the wall project I built. It's a bicycle made from walnut, ash and wenge. A little heavy but rides great.

The headstock, seatpost and bottom bracket all have steel tubes I cut from a Lemon bike I used for all the hardware. There is also some glass cloth involved in the headstock area along with finger joints in the wood. The frame was built in two halves and disassembled then hollowed out with a router. Very fun and challenging project. Here's a couple pic'sThat bike is crazy, how did you work out strength in the headstock?
Thanks buddy! This pic was taken by my then fiancé Donna on my initial solo in T/38’s during pilot training. I remember it was a crazy hot day in central Airizona!
