Charles that boat war hooking up so much better ,did you change props or was it strut adjustment? just wondering. Ace

with those props Charles you will want to put the negative back in those struts, in race water you will want the boat driving the nose down, set up is a trade off of many different things 1 prop and strut angle and height, 2 sponson angle of attack , boat ride height and angle of attack , so sometimes the prop is not always the problem and sometimes it is the prop depending on what has been done to the prop etc lift added ,lift taken out, the way the cupping has been done , the type of blade profile , so many factors ,then there's the affect of the water, all ponds have many different feels,, density, hardness ,softness ,saltiness, Charles, suggest put the 93 mph props back on an cup the lift out of them , but before you do try, level your struts and try raising your struts ,if you still have lift cup those props more to reduce lift, you were pulling them easy, and when you change all that be aware now of boat ride height and angle of attack and certainly sponson angle of attack , you have to juggle all this into a package that works for you !!!!!! hope this helps Charles happy testing bloke , cheers Ace

Ace do you run or have seen Aaron Alberic's twin run it to seems hop a touch but is super fast . I am running out of summer and there's snow half way down the mountains here but in a couple of days I'll be in Charleston and I'll have a couple of days to test and tune . It will be interesting to see how different it is from 45 to 60 degree water with good crisp air to 70+ water and 85 degree heat with 80+ humidity and softer water I'll real have my hands full with setup but one things clear it will be faster. Good thing thought Andy Brown himself will get me on track pretty quick. It should be a lot of fun. Thanks and I'll be putting the your info to the test

Thanks Ace man pass ya later Charlie

Hi Charlie,

I won't get there until Thursday evening, so you will be on your own with testing. Your boat looks fairly good. I little tail hop at the end of the turn. I can help you work that out between heats. Overall I would say the boats looks ready to race. Just go easy in the first heat and get a finish, then we can make improvements in hull set up from there. Just use minimal open water time to make sure your engines have a decent tune. Open water an be a dangerous place.

Charles i actually drove that boat to get me in to twins at full niose was doing 158kmh thats moving drinving a twin at that speed around a oval coarse,at that speed is very hard to settle, the boat is about to fly, thats that good hop or that balancing hop lol ACE

Ace man just finished up Charleston fall Nats and didn't place in the top 3 but I gave it a heck of a try thought . Stuart Bar

Gave me a kick assume chance to place in the Gass / Nitro shoot out and with the help of the Browns I pulled a second place finish behind Tom the man Foley. Scott miller posted some of the twin race footage .

good run Mr. Siler. OPS power impressive.
David these are the newest modded motors that I got from Andy they also have the newest version's of OPS internals knife edged Rod cut and lighted pistons with boost ports and liner with Andy's 45 mac carbs they hall man. Even though the motors are heavy you can see it takes nothing to dam near blow it off the water if you hit the gass to hard. I left the struts up a tad and left it loose instead of a lot of down force I didn't want to stuff it in the heavy chop. Glad you liked it Charlie
