This is a gross exaggeration. The reality is that the manufacturing costs are much closer than most people think. Last weekend I was watching a show on Speed TV comparing a Toyota Camary to a Ford Contour. The manufacturing cost differance was less than $200.00. It's foolish to think anly the big 3 make American cars. My Ford Sport Trac has less american parts than a Honda Accord. The best example is the new GTO. An original muscle car. Not really since it's actually a knock of of a Holden.DJT said:How would you feel if the owner, CEO, president or whatever, of the company you work for, shipped your job to Mexico, India, China, or a third world country.
For thoes that do, I hope that there is a 14 year old boy in Mexico working for a bowl of beans and a roll of toilet paper a week doing your job tomorrow.

DJT, it goes both ways. Austin TX owes over 50,000 jobs to japanese companies that decided to have their products made in the lone star state. Same thing with the auto industry.DJT said:Joe Knesek
If you think that is a gross exxageration you should talk to anybody in Cedar Rapids Iowa who use to work at Square-D. They shipped a bunch of jobs to Mexico.
And yes the mexican workers get a roll of toilet paper with their paycheck at the end of the week because they kept steeling it out of the bathrooms. (They no longer supply the company bathrooms with butt wipe, thet have to bring their "weekly rolls").
