Here is what we are dealing with this morning .
Hey Glenn-do you fellas just sit around and tell racing yarns when the water is rough like in this picture (he he). Tell Martin we want to see a low 14 sec oval run or even a hi 13 sec. would work too. Good luck to everyone!!!

Hey Tommy!!! Yeah we are often blessed with this kind of “rough” water here! But at some point in the next 9 days we will have some of the real bumpy kind of rough water to tell Racing stories!

Wish you were here!!

Ran my 12 hydro a couple times just to blow the dirt out from setting all year. Running in the low 90’s with my heat race fuel. It’s really fun, but have some work to do! Water is perfect!

The day started out pretty nice with good water conditions. By the time most folks were ready to run the water was too rough for the smaller boats. Most of the day was spent with folks breaking in new motors and basic setup stuff. Late in the afternoon the water started laying down and the last hour or so was glass smooth. Record attempts were made by several guys there at the end, but no records were set. I made about a dozen passes right around 90 while testing some new pipe designs. It was fun!

The first pic below is the rough part of the day and the other pic is the good part of the day!

looking forward to another good day tomorrow!

Guess you guys are welcome for taking all the wind and rough water with us when we left!
Haha, see everyone next weekend!

Water has been perfect so far today. Had a little fog that delayed getting the clocks going for about 1/2 hour, but has been perfect since.

Martin got here early this morning and brought a brand new .21 hydro ...he took almost a 1/2 second off the record on it’s fourth run! Show off!!

I was a little closer with my 12 this morning...ran 98+ on my first pass. Doing some prop work now.

The FE guys have been making some good passes but no records yet.

Will update again later..,

The day was simply amazing! Only two records set (Martin with his .21 hydro and Fede with his super stock sport hydro) , but the weather was perfect and there were lots of good runs!

Here are a couple pics...

Today ended as it began, glass smooth and nice temps. The last two days have been incredible, but it looks like tomorrow afternoon is gonna have a little breeze and forecast for storms on Thursday. But then very good again for next weekend.

We had two records set today . Jay/Mic set the P cat 2 lap record and Martin pushed the 21 hydro 2 lap record a little lower late this afternoon.

Donna made a couple runs with her .12 sport hydro. I have my new .12 motor pretty close to broke in now so I may be able to really let it run tomorrow! My best speed today was just under 102.
