You are correct Mark congradulations on your IMPBA lifetime membership choice. IMPBA Lifetime Membership are still available untill the end of the year 2005 contact John Equi at 256-684-2986 if you are interested and John will get you one of the special forms for an IMPBA Lifetime Membership.

I heard a rumor that Eric Betty the current record holder for the IMPBA Sport .21 Tunnel class has now found evne more speed at least on the radar gun I was told he has had seen 62mph on the radar gun using his SAW setup they are heading to Speed Week if weather is good he has a chance of even getting the B Mod Tunnel Hull record. This in not true. We have seen something very close to the speed you have listed (61.6) unfortunitaly we had a collision with some wildlife and bent a skeg. The boat did not act right the rest of the day. We have done some straightening and will test again over the weekend. If all else fails we will have to cut another lower unit. The good news as that the duck lived and seemed to be im good health when it was released.

Sorry to hear you guys only managed 61.6 MHP with a SPort .21 Tunnel hull using the stock muffler no tuned pipe ! :lol: Hope you can get it fixed in time Good luck!

We have also been doing our share of testing here at our pond. Things are looking good to possibly cut some time off the 2-lap Sport Record in Valdosta. My computer at home is down and has been for a week now. My new drive will be here in a couple of days so. See you there!

Looks like the tunnel guys are going to be in Valdosta !! I run Gas Monos now, but raced tunnels for 8 years. Maybe I can get some speed secerts , and dust off the old tunnels to run next year. Got to check to see if we have everything in the trailer, then to bed. 9 Hours to ride tomorrow. Valdosta , Ga. Here we come!!!!!
