whats better to use i have a tunnel hull and the boat has only two little pieces of block foam

what would be better using a foam noodle cut up or getting liquid foam and filling the hole boat so

that no water can get it

please help

Avoid the liquid foam!
whats wrong with it wouldnt it fill in all the space allowing no water to get in
In addition to potentially popping the seams, if you've filled the boat with foam, repairs become a nightmare. When you break a hull, being able to get at the repair area from the inside is often important. Also, some of the foams tend to absorb water, fuel, or oil, adding considerable weight.

I would also agree - use the noodles. More practical and easier to deal with in the long run for any repairs and maintenance.

The L-ynx has EPS foam flotation put in the sponsonsons before the deck is bonded on to the hull. EPS does not absorb water or fuel. It is the pink or blue foam board sold in building supply stores.

Dont do that liquid stuff!!! i did it and almost stuffed a boat then had to dig the crap OUT!!

Plus its heavy when it dries too. just buy a pool noodle its what every one runs now ;)

Just some info for we 'Yanks', I learned (at an all night drinking fest with the kangaroo loving 'mates') that "stuffed" is an Aussie term for one of our more commonly used curse words beginning with an 'F' and ending with an 'ucked' sound.

Pool noodles are your friend. Easy to use, and easily replaceable.

Same applies for "rooted" and "knackered".

Pool noodles are the things kids float on in the pool, you can get em from places like K-mart and target there only a few bucks. they are foam and you can cut them to fit places.

Awesome value for money

The *Marts tend to just have them seasonally. Try the beach stores. I've also found them in the dollar stores.

pipe insulation foam sold at home depot or lowes will work also. but, pool nooldes are better, imho.
