Anyone know the 3M part number for the #5 tape. Checking past posts .....everyone suggests that the #5 polyester tape was/is the best. 1" X 72yd roll

I have been on the 3M web site....then tried to order this tape. Distributors (stores) want a part #

The problem is that it is a specialty item that most distributors can not get. The stuff is not cheap.

The R/C dealers that sell it only make about 3 bucks ( Towerhobbies, the discount store, makes more $$) on a roll and we don't sell that much because it goes a long way. So it's not like we're making a Fat living off the stuff.

Buy a roll or two from your favorite dealer so that he'll be motivated to buy more and have it on hand for other boaters that need it.
