Nova marine ?

These are from Nova not Novarossi. Complete different manufacturer that bought machines and tooling from Novarossi. Nova has struggled with quality issues and hope they get them sorted out. We need more manufacturers of QUALITY engines and parts.
Nova is using the name to confuse consumers into thinking they are affiliated with Novarossi but they are not and have no affiliation with the Rossi family.

As Danny pointed out, these are car engines with water jackets, I wonder if they adjusted the timing or if they are car liners.

Doubt it on the timing. They could not even machine the cooling heads of the car motors when they first came out.

It would be nice if they made the crankshaft for a collet instead of a clutch too.

I am onboard for them to make a great coming back but you would just have to youtube and search forums and the google search and you would see what everyone is mentioning. It is nothing against the company I am sure. We more than welcome engine manufacturers to get their product out there and people to use it but as I heard and have seen there has been some growing pains with the new companies manufacturing processes at least at the initial runs of product.

Some of the off road guys say they don't hold up in racing,a lot of talk on car forums about nova engines,some say poor workmanship. I like CMB Engines,I never had a problem with them,but the engine I really liked was the NovaRossi RX .21,what a great engine,long gone. Good Luck!

I pulled apart my CMB v5 last year, before I ran it,just to check for any shavings and cleaned sharp edges/chrome flash etc,which you should do on any engine,overall pretty happy with quality,and love the steel rod and roller bigend
I remember the Novarossi Rex .21 when I first saw one around the early 90s,,What a game changer it was,A guy had one in an avenger type hydro and we all couldn't believe how quick it was.

They were given many offers of help, but turned it down. I gave them a large parts order. Most of the parts went into the recycle bin. People who had their fingers burned no longer touch the stove.
