Scott the new GT is W 3 3/8, H 1 3/4, L 31 1/8 all outside #s.

The laser cut pieces all fit together like a jig saw puzzle resulting in everything being square and flat. I did use a jig which I recommend using while the glue is drying to keep everything square

David here is my jig. Very simple, a flat board is needed with some 1"x 1" angle. You should slot the screws securing the angle to make it ajustable. I use wax paper when glueing to keep the wood from sticking. Use a square to be sure everything spot on.

I also build a jig like Tim said I youse the same jig to build the sponsons on. Drill holes for the boom tube sleeves to sit in and lay them on the jig. I put foam in the holes to push up on the sleeve and weight the sponson down on wax paper. I will post pic soon. My tub is all glues up in the jig also. My jig has holes in the angle to glue the brass tubes in that way it is always square and flat. great kit to build. Zippkits and the boys have done there homework. My 2 year old could build it. (Well not quite)
