Mike,
Ditto on the God status. I would have just given it to you when you built your first CF rigger. 8)
I'm a little leary about thin hatch hatch covers having a tendancy to cave in from the water pressure in a hard flip. I actually had this happen with a sail boat knock down in rough weather.
In following your progress I notice your weight in the photo is at 12.2oz. At exactly the same stage, with the possible exceptions that my booms are already held in place with screws, my turn fin includes the screws into the sponson, all mounts are in for the radio gear and I'm assuming you included the lexan hatch covers, my weight is 17oz, That's a difference of 4.8oz and your hull is 28" compared to 22 5/8" for mine. By the way, I like your "wheel base"! I think it should perform much better.
All these posts and specs on 12s should be of great help to anyone interested in designing and scratch building any size boat. And you're right, this is really fun.
Keep us advised of radio gear, engine and pipe and tank weights as you go.

( P.S. Do you plan to hold the booms in with collars?)
