David sharpens both sides to the bend then sharpens only outside of fin from that point.
I just got a DP .45 turn fin and the instructions that came with it recommend sharpening both sides down to the bend. We also tried this on our .12's and .21's and it helped. My .12 also seemed to track straighter with the rudder mounted on the left side rather than the right when looking from the rear.My 45 JAE DP fin is only sharpend on outside. The JAE 21 fin from zippkits is also sharpend on outside. I do have to add left rudder to keep them going stright. Would like to here more imput on this.
Is that the new "hot rod" .12? You're really raising the bar for us in the A class this year. Carbon boat, carbon pipes, and hot rod motors? Can't wait till ice out! B)
