Madison WI area....

Hello,

I have run in District 2 on and off for quite a few years.

I have recently moved to the Madison Wisconsin area, Monona to be more specific.

I have a D-Hydro and an E-Hydro.

I would like to find a pond (if there is one), and someone to run with in the area.

Madison is a funny area.. NO RC BOATS are allowed on any of the lakes in that area.. (I know.. CRAZY!)

The closest active club to you will be the Badger Model boat club in Kenosha WI. http://www.badgerboaters.com/index.html

The best race closest to you will be The Minuet Breakers Classic in Mendota IL (IMPBA Dist 4)

Our pond is north of you in EauClaire WI... (A good hike) but doable.

GrimRacer, thanks for replying and for the links to area clubs.

I am familiar a little bit with the Eau Claire area. My son in-law is from Eau Claire, and we have been there a few times to visit his parents and family.

Eau Claire is about 180 miles from where I am, the Badger Model boat pond is 90 miles or so.

Hi Blair,

I used to live in the Twin Cities and raced with Grim for some years at TCMBC as he said. I have raced once or twice with Grim club at their pond to but anything beyond that I haven't seen anything. I moved to the Madison area back in 2011 and all my stuff is sitting around not used. I have been looking at the club in Kenosha too and thought about the Minute Breakers but have not made it down there. I am currently in outside of Madison between you and Cambridge. Have been looking around for some ponds here but no raft but a tennis ball. LOL
