Was that a IMPBA race?If so dont they help with paying for the hospital bill?I thought that was a reason to join the orginazation and have races so your covered.I feal real bad for Squeak could of happened to anyone one.Gets you thinking.Get well rest and drink plenty of fluids.

IMPBA does offer medical coverage which will pay for medical bills and lost earnings due to injury. Unfortunately, this coverage will not provide immediate relief since Steve will likely be treating for time. They may pay wages before settlement but that's not a given.

I cannot go into details here but the IMPBA and the insurance company are doing thier part. Unfortunatly these things like Steven's leg take time. I will try to keep you posted on any information IMPBA wise I can.

I will also be looking at the accident further to see what if anything can be done to help prevent these things. It was an accident and safeties where in place just need to make sure we do all we can to prevent injuries.

Thanks Guys and Gals for taking care of the Squeaker, The IMPBA will do its part.

I talked to the insurance guy yesterday and they will be sending an adjuster to the pond and to interview the people involved. It is good they are moving on this.

The unfortunate side is that insurance companies are quick to take your money and slow to give it out. I will try to keep you posted as to any new developments.

Joe

We are not rushing to settle just want to make sure that people know we are working on this and that people understand it will take some time.

More to Come

Grim

Expect a check in the next few days from the Jackson R/C Boat Modelers club to help Squeak out. I had the pleasure of meeting him at the internats last year and must say he is a class act. We wish him well and look forward the seeing him and the rest at the internats. Best of luck and God Bless.

Keep clicking. Each $10 donation gets you one raffle ticket, right Grim? :)
