Thanks guys! Had a lot of fun today, only got in a total of 4 runs with the 45 because of the wind all day. Set the record on run 2 this morning at 15.4 and then waited all day and then lowered the record to 14.89 on run 4 this evening. Boat is JAE motor is picco and prop was octura, there is definently more out there with better water conditions. Hoping and praying for good water for 1/3 mile attemps tomorrow but it doesnt look good.

Martin and Julian were ZOOMING!!!!!

Chris,

I have no secrets you know that. We have shared lots of info. Cut to 58mm 5.0 cup.

I just did it last night and put it on there. Didn't have any time to compare props, only had a couple runs, when the wind lays its a scramble to get on the water!!! I will say i have a 1657 cupped a LOT and its not enough load.

Interesting. Must have alot less pitch progression than the 1657? I couldnt amagine that one mm would make that much difference

Im sure it has more leading edge pitch but i will have to check it. I do not think it is the optimum prop yet, but it is pretty good. Hard to tell when its that rough, it was worse than what the video shows.

Hmm. Well let me know if you get time to check it out. Congrats again. Any idea on what shoot speed was?

Kroggs remember power to weight ratio I have a boat that is x2 maybe 4 times the weight and size of martin boat. But we both were hauling the mail. We have set some good records and we both are having a blast. That's what's it all about. We are still going to try to improve our times tomorrow. These Sholund props are getting the job done this roadrunner is smoking fast with CMB 101 RS power with zoom carburetors it's a rocket.

We will see what happens tomorrow

Julian

That is awesome ! When you pick up one of these twins and feel how heavy they are it really brings home just how amazing this is ! Great job buddy !

Awesome speed guys , something that takes a lot of work but I'm sure is very satisfying.

Curious , were did the 1\4 mile oval idea come from , we race 1/3?
