Are you bringing anything else to race?

I'm running C hydro, A mono and A O/b tunnel.

bloody hell guys!!

Ian,

your mono will be the one to watch at the nats, as soon as this k90 comes on it will all be over for every one else!!

Tim,

No, just X mono and hydro. I have a 67 cobra, but that is not finished. 2 boats is heaps when you are flying over! My luggage is going to be cramped with only two boats!

Dale,

Haha, we will see! I need to make sure it is consistent, it is very fast but I hear a lot of them are fast over there now!

Ian.

Ian,

They are all using the 1 cube CMB here.

Tony Jones is the current X mono champ from the winter spectacular that was at the regatta centre and he won Hunter Valley too. If that gives you something to go by.

Cheers,

Tim.

Tim,

At Griffith this year I was the only person in X mono not using a CMB! Unfortunately my motor was way too new there and I didn't have it sorted out. Tony's boat was pretty good at Griffith too. I think I will be competitive, but I dont think i will be blowing them into the weeds!

Dale,

The carnage at Griffith was pretty high, not very many finishers!

Ian.

Hammer,

Recieved the package last night, it is awesome!!! very very well made,

thanks heaps for that, i have your package sitting on my desk here and will get to the post office at lunch time!

put the bladder tank together, very nice, im going to track down some more and give them a go in the twin,

Thanks Mr Shimzu for me please,

Dale

Hammer,

Dale gave me a look at the pipe - looks awesome. Should be interesting to see how it run's. I love the welded on pipe bracket - nice touch.

Got the 9B - thanks a bunch.

Tim

The pipe coupler hose is silicon with polyestor webbing molded in to it. It is too small for the Titanium pipe, but

it will be okay for the 11cc or 13cc macs pipe. I have never blown one of them. Try it out.

Hammer

Hammer,

i was woundering what that stuff was, it looked like big garden hose!,

the special package is on its way to you with what you requested and a few extra :)

Looking forward to it.

While you are on line, go to riggers from japan and check out the vids of Japanese Kyoutei. They are craaaaazzzzyyy!

Hammer

Hey Dale! I by chance had some free time today, I ran down to Shimizu's to get you tanks but they were out of the 18oz. I ordered them, should take about 7-10 days to get them.

While I was there, I met the Pres. of the JMPBA. He was looking at some of the mods that I did to the Kingcraft.

He took one look at the tabs and said, "illegal!" I was like

what do you mean, and he said the step between the bottom edge of the boat and the bottom surface of the

tabs must be less than 2mm. The holes you drilled in the

transom were too high. Gonna have to make a note of this for the next order. Mr. Shimizu drilled the holes that were in the stainless tabs big enough to give them about 2mm of play. I was able to mount them flush with the bottom of the boat, but now my boat is all out of trim. I will have to waste some fuel tomorrow to get it back to racing condition. Rats! I had it perfect.

Hammer

Hmmm interesting,

we have no rules saying how far up the plates have to be or anthing to do with the hardware apart from having to be a rounded bottom strut!.

Next ones will be drilled closer to the bottom.

Dale

Hey guys!

I wonder what the IMPBA has to say about it.

I know that the rules they used to use are what the JMPBA

uses as a base for their rules.

Nitrocrazed! I don't think having them 2mm below would be good common sense ;D

Gotta get back to work.

Hammer

: :) Got some weird rules over there! Who would want to put them below the transom anyway? That would totally screw up the handling. It might make a mono a hydro under the rules as it would give the hull multiple riding surfaces. It might be in the IMPBA rules that they have to be level with or higher than the transom, gotta look it up. Too high would diminish the effect.
