I got to practice on the pond a little as well as help out Wes's grandson Gavin on the race course. This course is pretty shielded from the wind and has a lot of room to race. The camp ground it doing a lot of advertising about this and there will be press there. Wes has an interview Tuesday with a radio station there. This should be a really good time. Ken

Whats up Sam, you can run the E/F's and twins if you like. We will probably have one more of each enter. I think Stu is bringing twin, but not sure. Rocky Will has an F-boat but not sure if he plans on bringing it.

Charlie Muench is the only other 40 Mono and I already told him not to bring it.

We are going to be chill and laid back at this race so if you have a boat to test, bring it. If you need a minute between heats we can wait afford to wait a bit. We may have some open water Saturday afternoon as well.'

Last time we had a 75 boat race in Mt. Vernon it was awesome. Saturday night we ran 50 - 60 laps of B Sport tunnel.

I guess what I am saying is, If you are on the fence about bringing a boat, just bring it. I like a 80 - 90 boat race, it allows more time to rest, socialize, test, tune, etc.

When all the spectators leave there will be lots of room for anything you want to bring.

Jeff, can you add me to classic thunder if you have room. Aint run it in 2 years but I have a pulley and a easy start coming so i should be able to start in somehow.( 2.4 )

Also James is going to run scale. 2.4, 2012 degree for men

I would say if you stay over the water you have plenty of room to fly.

If anyone in Scale would like to correct their boat info please send me a note. We would like to have the boats called correctly.

Dennis wanted me to remind everyone that open water does not start until noon friday or at least until the nets are up. I did 3 live radio interviews this morning and there is ALOT of buzz about this race. My phone has not stopped ringing. The weather looks almost perfect for Sat. and Sun so I expect ALOT of spectators so everyone please try to be patient with the spectators. They are already talking about having a week long event next year and having us as the 2 day finale.
