Had a great time meeting everyone in Jackson. Im also glad to be home.....
Got some great shots there Mark, hope you guys had a safe trip back.
Jim Irwins new lower unit is the "shizzle" I ran it all weekend, works awesome. That lower coupled with Capt Vics, mounts are a great combination.
Im still exhausted......especially after the all night run in I had with the Australians. Its ok guys, I represented the U.S. mens beer drinking team quite well and hung in there till the end. I even heard that "Grub" was driving the porcelain bus, and decided to spew all over the place.....LOL That was the most fun ive had in a while, those guys are a GREAT bunch to hang out with, just dont have anything important planned for next day! I Enjoyed the Piss Up guys! wish you a safe trip back..

It was a blast for us as well.. Even though we weren't racing.. Going to this race has made both Mary and I wanting to race next year. Seriously thinking of building a pond out back..

This is another example of how friendly boaters really are... The owner saw me take a pic and while I was taking the other boat's pic, he came up and handed Kristy the boat.. B) WOW Boaters are the best!!!

Nice to meet you Allen! I left the pond and forgot to get my Mercury Race calendar from you.....maybe next year?
Allen put on a good show with his big tunnel (.67) finishing second only to Ernie Lafleur, thats a huge feat in itself! good job!

They anounced yesterday that would not be any open water for the sport tunnel. :angry:
So Alec and I got up at the crack of dawn to sneak down to the pond and test the Bud Villan. It ran unbelievable. Grim has been a great help setting his own backup engine on our Villan, what a great guy!!
For some of you that don't understand what is going on here. I borrowed an engine for Grim because our engine was completly stock. That's the way we have to run them in APBA.
1st round a second behind Grim, 2nd round 1st and 3rd round 1st with 1 bouy cut. Boy when Alec hit that bouy I thought we were done. The boat went up on it's side and came back down and kept running.
Currently in 2nd, 50 points behind Grim with 2 rounds left tomorrow.
