Stu, drop me then from "B" 'rigger then add Eric to Gas Cat Channel 62. I'll have to see what my alternate is or drop another radio into it. This will even up the "B" hydro class then to 24.

Got the change made. With the flood of entries, we are down to only 26 B-Hydros. You know, these boats are small. How about 2 heats of 13 boats

It didn't look bad at all. The lake is pretty well protected from the wind. Front stretch has a solid wall then regular shoreline most of the rest of the way around.

There was talk of having a new launching deck there this year but we'll have to see what Stu says about that.

Entries are set. 226 boats and 88 drivers. Gas Cat did not make 6 entries, but we will run these anyway at this time. The rest are a "Jacket Class". The NAMBA TEAM has been set with Mark Grim's approval. I will match "their boats" against our (IMPBA) boats. NAMBA TEAM will be published soon and total entrants also. I would like to hear your votes for the IMPBA team after that.

Stu, I thought that you had 7 gas Cat's but anyway, thanks a lot for letting us run anyway, I for one really appreciate it. I've been busting my tail getting the second one whipped back into shape as the engine wouldn't even start here at home but it did fire and run decently yesterday at the local watering hole. I'm just happy to be able to race there and wouldn't care if you handed out flexible trophies (ribbons).

Stu I just happened to check your thread and saw this on the first post:

"With our race program (software) it does not allow us to remove an entrant without having to re-input everything. I will not put Paula (Bruce's wife) through that again."

If you have entered a racer into the event and he backs out just delete his boats and he will no longer be in the race, all his info will remain he just wont have any boats!

What if the 5 Gas Cat drivers all go together and pay the $17 entry fee? Then it could be a Jacket Class and you would not be out any money. It would not be any different than someone entering the class and not being able to bring the boat because of last minute problems.

Just let me know ahead of time if I need a freq change on either or both Cat's so I can have that done ahead of time. It would be easier if you split up Eric and I if possible so we don't have to scramble to get pitmen.

Is a pre-race line-up possible? I know that you must be busting your tail on this event with cancellations and trying to get everything set up.
