WHAT HAPPEND TO THE ORIGINAL POST # 19 ????

IT APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN CHANGED!

WHY??? <_<

Hi Don, There was a misunderstanding with how Greg had worded his post and I thank him for his reply.

Cheers, Danny.

What a disgraceful exhibition some Australian model boaters have made on this thread. I’m amazed by the amount of bad comments and cheap swipes being made by non competing attendees at this SAW meeting but more so from Interstaters that did not attend.

Craig (aka Winksy), why make comments like “Unfortunately Tony did not do this with his own boats or motors he had to have them imported from USA”. As a MAC engine importer you know most of the engines, boats and hardware we run in Australia are imported. Seems like you were just hiding with the aim to of making cheap swipes !!. As Don Ferrette said “what difference does that make” (Thanks Don)

Pulsetech (Greg) You were at this meeting and you know I made only two passes with my Grim 45 Hydro, running very rich. You also know I stopped the boat after only two passes because the low sun position was causing the boat to be dangerously invisible on the water during the passes. Seems you forgot to mention these facts in your cheap swipes at Mark Grim and Don Maher.

Aaron. All anybody asks is people post the correct speeds gained at SAW meetings and not B.S. or inflated speeds. I cannot see the reasoning behind posting B.S. speeds.

Some of you Australian big mouths should give SAW a go and find out for yourself how difficult it really is. At 100+ mph speeds any reasonable sized lake quickly become very small. It saddens me to think I competed and assisted at this SAW meeting specially when you read the crap some Aussies have put up following the event. Pull your heads in guy’s.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mark and Chris Grim for all the assistance they gave me leading up to this SAW meeting. Grim CMB engines and their Californian Special boats are exceptional. The information they passed on was invaluable and very much appreciated. I’m sure Mark has forgotten more than many of us know.

Regards, Tony Grinter.

Please let this disgraceful thread die already - no good is coming from it.

Your a lying ass Winks. Last year when I assisted you with the faulty CMB 45 engines you purchased from Tidewater you told me you registered as "craig". Also look at your previous "graig" posts and the history confirms this.

Stop the B.S.

C'mon guys, please take this off the board, it's really serving no purpose to the "greater" boating community, by bandying around accusations whether founded or not.

You may/may not have "issues" with each others posts, that is fine, but lets try to focus on the topics at hand and keep it within reason without the sledging (if you believe it's warranted, pick up the phone and call each other to mediate the situation.......a slanging match just doesn't belong here and I'm sure others may agree).

One thing we have to bear in mind is that there are alot of family members (young ones) who read these posts at we don't want to pass on "negative" thoughts, ideas or opinions.

Not too sure, but it may be time to "lock this one down"

This discussion should never have started in the manner it did and any person being ridiculed should have the right of reply. It’s also not right that people are editing or deleting messages when they have changed there minds about a post or covering something up.

Tony, whilst I agree that person/s should and actually do in fact have a right of reply, I merely suggested that it may be better, possibly more beneficial in certain instance/s to do this in a more appropriate setting, and not necessarily in a public forum.

Didn't know what to say at first but.................

When people list their results before the official results there is always going to be errors. Most of the time these people are only going by what they may have been told out at the pond but have never saw or heard the official results.

I take it all with a grain of salt cause at the end of it all, we have bench racing and official results. It just wouldn't be model boats without either.

We need a really big salt grinder!!!!!

Grub

Congratulations!

When you are on top all they can do is try to knock you down.

Take it as a complement.

It never hurts to know who your friends are.

At least nobody foolishly used the word "world". We all know what happens then.
