Ron, I am not offended at all. I grew up in a two parent home. My mom was a stay at home mom so I always had a parent at home. I learned the value of a dollar early working at the family marina. I worked hard, was an A student and stayed out of trouble. People who knew me thought I was spoiled. I raced snowmobiles, full size outboard tunnels, dirt bikes and drag raced. I payed for all of this myself. I also payed my own way through college. I never had a student loan. One of my buddies took the AK47 away from a North Vietnamese soldier who had just killed another of my buddies. If Obama thinks that he will ever take this gun away from me, then he is a lot dumber than he has already proven he can be!

You have to pay a special tax (spelled bribe) to own a fully automatic weapon, or be "grandfathered" like my case. I could not sell mine unless I paid the tax first.

In 6 or 7 states no,The rest Class III select fire (semi / full) auto weapons made prior to 86,

Have full paperwork on transfer of ownership / background checks and a 200 dollar tax.

Now it's anyones best guess,

Just to compare, and again not to enter the debate, in Canada we're restricted to 10 rounds for handguns and only 5 for rifles. :mellow:

to buy any full Auto rifle(AK47,SKS,M4,MP5,browning .50 cal sniper rifle, ect), suppressors you have to have a class III permit with i think a 250-350 fee and a few months of investigations. the federal government tracks these items and they will come to your house 24/7 and 365 days a year and ensure they are where theses suppose to be. Also if you are going to use them or take them to the range you have to inform them where its going at all times.

if theres a crime with any class 3 weapons they will come to your house and verify your weapon was not the one involved.

The police can't take the guns away from illegal gun carriers fast enough. Sure is REAL interesting how the press is keeping so quiet about Feinstein's gun control bill she announced back on Dec. 17th to be introduced day one that they reconvene for 2013. There's quite a bit of stuff carefully woven into the way things are worded in that bill. This is the same person who has repeatedly and openly stated if she had her way no ordinary U.S. citizens would be permitted to own firearms of ANY kind.http://www.nraila.or...n-ban-bill.aspx
