Who all makes lower units and pipes for these boats? Ive seen pull starts and cone flywheels. With the Zippkitt Tunnel coming im just thinking.

There are three lowers that I know of;

GMorty unit,

The Lawless,

Two Brothers.

Pipes. I only know of the SPP pipe - there are others but I don't know any specifics.

carlos @cc racing now has a steel european pipe made in the netherlands, looks good. joe @ zipkitts sells a aluminum one, kinda like a cooper, not sure who makes it. these all end up in back of motor. I like the one that wraps around front of motor. have no clue on that one

Mike,

I have a QD deep V hot pipe with the internal stinger on one of mine right now. It comes out the side, goes forward and wraps straight back on just the side. Nothing around the back, light, neat and clean.I'm just working on the bracing now.

It has no problem clearing the cowl on the left side. I'll post a pic later.

Winston, glad to see you got the ossi hull, looking very nice! how long until it gets wet? You may wnt to add stumble blocks to the bottom of the boat, most guys are having to add them to get it to turn well I think.

Has anyone tried to turn the motor to get the carb under the cowl? Once my Zippkit Rocket is done i want to work on a tunnel. Do the lowers all have .250 shafts?

Hi Mikey, Not all, for example my old tunnel It is 3/16. and on the G.Morty lower is 1/4. I do not think that it dos any difference if you turn the motor or not.

Check this out. B)

Mike,

No trim on Gregs lowers. It's a cast lower similar to the Lawless with the Precision style mount. I could post a pic if you'd like. Just ask
