That receiver has served us well
We also use the long antenna. Huntsville has a LOT of radio and electromagnetic activity in the atmosphere.

The long antenna wire has virtually done away with radio issues relative to loosing connectivity

Hey Doc I think the "long antenna" is really the same length of active antenna on the end, however the longer part puts that section more away from the noisy parts of the boat and the stuff that attenuates the RF.

Confirmed. Tried connecting a R603FS to a 4PX and it would not bind. R614FS and FF had no issues binding. So C1 receivers will not work, only C2.

Not so sure about the S-FHSS being able to bind more than one to a model number.

If that is the case the R2008SB is S-FHSS and also a dual antenna diversity receiver that the 7PX will operate.
