So over Christmas I went through a box of my dad's old boat pictures (1976-98) and scanned over 70 of them in. Here are a few more classic tunnel hull shots.

My JD 3.5 tunnel from the mid 90's, first boat I raced with the "grown-ups":

Ron, Im J.R., Joeys brother. Our dad ran tunnels for years with district 8. He even held the first A-Tunnel NAMBA record!

Wow JR. If we had all of those tunnels back we could open a rc tunnel museum. Very cool stuff for sure. I see several I recognize. Thank you so much for sharing.
 
After this thread perked my tunnel interest again, here's a rough mock up of my new 7.5 tunnel. The sponsons and center section need to be completed prior to marrying the two together, but it's getting there. I also need to build a radio box and figure out the cowl situation. The hull was designed by my father.
