Hey guys,

I had some major dramas on the weekend with some light brown greasy substance coming out of a metal tank and clogging the fuel filter causing my engine to go lean. I dont have a lot of experience with metal tanks and probably have not cleaned or stored it properly.

What should I do to the tank after a days running to clean and store it? ???

I fill mine with metho while in storage. Also spray the outside of the tank with WD40.
