Here are the speed logs from the first break in runs to day with the new set up.

Home brew 50%

pics of the tear down after. ran two tanks of 60% at the end but the logger lost power connection.

Will give it a try in race water in two weeks at Melbourne.

Charleston here I come get ready.

gust need to tie up a few lose ends.

The club has new officers and a bunch of new members now and thy need to all get up to speed.

Thats only the first break in runs blubbering rich.

Dove in the corners full rudder full throttle at that speed. turns in 30'

It is a sight to behold in person.

Hardest digging rigger I ever saw.

It is a blast to drive.

There is a video will post when Joe gets it down loaded. Did a roll over in one corner and kept it going.

It did not go 101 in that run. the best Ross could get on the gun was 83. but it is still pulling all the way to the end of the straits.

that last 100' makes a difference.

I would go with the radar gun speeds(low 80's) over GPS speeds, as there known to give false readings sometimes...

And I can't see you gaining 18mph in the last little bit of pond...

I will push it a little harder this weekend with 60% and run a little more diameter in the prop.

This was cut to 67mm for the break in.

If all goes well I might try my 2000RPM booster pipe!

David, it seems the GPS speed graph is 'noisy', it also shows the speed getting down to 12-15mph at points, is that right?

I think just false reading....

This is why you can't beat a good radar gun...

those where the first two runs then the wire to the V4 came lose. the boat was way lose on the first two runs. thy where the break in runs so I was running slow then speeding up to check the response.

Could not race it that lose.

Yes two glitches in a row.

If you look at the graft it dose not peek till I turn in. so half way down the straits it only half wound up?

Dose not mater how fast it went. will see how it runs at the race. that is the bottom line.

If I have time at thanksgiving and the extra cash I will put it on the timers then the BS will be put to the test.

Can run it real lose in a two lap by its self.
