The race entries are building, and we have 6 weeks before the race. However there are some classes that are very thin and may be cut in the very near future. If you are on the fence on coming, or choose NOT to go to AZ, please get the entries in very soon.

Two classes are being asked heavily to be added and are the SS Mono and SS Supersport. Commitments have been made to support the classes. The thin classes will be looked at in the next 7-10 days and adjustments could be made to include those 2 classes. We have always used 6 boat minimum to run a class and that is for the trophy support. It may be dropped to 5 to run the class but not sure it will go lower. Drum up support among your friends and racers to build up the small classes to get to run.

The LSG Offshore Superboat and the LSG Super Sport classes have been added to the race as requested. The Superboat class will run a rectangular offshore course. Super Sport class can run only a stock Zenoah 26 PUM engine. IMPBA rules pertain.

Some classes are going to be dropped unless entries start to come in quickly.

Guys, the leadership of the CMB club, has decided that if a class has 3 boats entered it will run. The CMB club greatly appreciates the current and past support for the CMB Fall Nationals, the effort, time commitment and the expense required to come to a race. Therefore the class limit was reduced to 3 boats. Not ideal but the times we have now for hosting and running races requires an adjustment. At no time will be the racers be punished and they will be honored accordingly.

Today the classes were culled and those with less than 3 entries were cut and not be offered or run at this late date. There are still 18 classes that are scheduled to run in the race. The registration will close in 1 week on Sept 28 and the heats will be racked from those entries. Please carefully review the event details on RCRACINGEVENTS especially the open water and the parking rules. They will be enforced.

Happy to say that the race is on as there is no damage to the race site. Small limb debris and tree trash and the cleanup will be finished by days end.

Remember that open water starts on Thursday morning and runs through the day. NO open water Wednesday. You can arrive on Wednesday and setup but no running of boats.
