LOL- The most fun you can have with your clothes on

Basically Robert - A 20 tunnel with a center ride pad that exceeds the sponsons depth-

A mono with sponsons added- real boat world i/e - allison or mod-vp

- with a center ride pad.

They run 20 outboards of choice. Currently Andy Mason is building production hulls, the Junkers have their own version(tunnel)

Mic has his own idea- and Mark Poole offers the OMC version.

That said - where the heck are you guys ?????

Let me know if we wont make, I will dump class and run Nitro Offshore with Tommy and Gene

The most fun you will have racing boats at 35-40 mph. Mod-VP is an RC version of the lifesize outboard class that mixed V bottoms and modified (center pod) tunnels powered by V-6 Merc and OMC engines. It is unlikely that you will ever see them run anywhere near the speed of a conventional tunnel but, that speed "handicap" makes the class fun and competitive. Lots of routes to take with hulls too that makes it interesting.

Thats was the mistake I made

I tried to steal it from Trunk Monkey instead of ponying up and just buying it- times where tough

I had to bust his balzz Mark, Mines getting pretty leaky, it would have made a good back up boat - you snooze you looze

Looks like an extra gallon of fuel and I will switch to Nitro Offshore , and to think- for 35 bucks more than that gal of fuel it could have been mine

Speak for yourself with that 35 mph stuff BTW

A strip of tape down both sides of the cowl against the deck will keep water out. Other than that, put water in the boat and see where it comes out!! :lol:

If the WTC is Daytona and Brandon is Talledega then our race here will definetly be Dover!! (the monster mile) The pond is currently being widened so it will not be Bristol!!

Im envious, I loved living in Florida, and Brandon was one of my favorite places to race, the Taco food vending in the parking lot area are the best, hope they are there.

Joe I finally broke down and tried the taco's off the truck last year after watching you guys eat em for ever,

Robert, the MOD VPs are alot of fun to watch...those guys look like they are havin a BALL racin with each other! Its kinda looks like they're on the edge of control! And next to RTR, id guess its the lowest cost class there is in nitro....big bang for the buck!

Almost 200 boats!!! Look at all the NITRO entries!! got 2 love it!! "Nitro---there is no substitute!!"

191 Boats dropping 2 RTR and 2 Gas Twin Riggers since it takes three to make the class.

117 Nitro and 74 Gas

Looks like around 32 heats per round with a good weather forecast it should be a Great Nitro weekend!
